About Ed Roitz

Listener. Leader. Problem solver.

MEET ED

For nearly four decades, Ed worked in his family’s business, which included numerous small stores and gas stations. Ed’s experience in budgeting, operations, and problem-solving offers Overland Park the advantage when it comes to building local/state relationships to achieve results.

Public service to his community is very important to Ed. He was formerly elected as a mayor, city commissioner, and state senator. He has served on many boards, including at hospitals, and on a statewide education task force.

Ed’s wife, Bethann, has been a career early childhood educator. They live in Overland Park and between them have four children and five grandchildren. Ed is an avid softball player, Knights of Columbus member, and longtime volunteer at a local lunch kitchen for the homeless.
